About Us
Wild One is a lifestyle brand that makes beautifully designed, functional pet essentials for our best friends. We create a wide variety of innovative products that will make your morning walks, subway commutes, and park visits easier and more enjoyable for both human and hound. Wild One launched in September 2018. Since then, we’ve run a pop-up shop in the heart of Nolita, been dubbed the “Everlane and Outdoor Voices of pet accessories”, partnered with key retailers such as Need Supply, Bloomingdale’s and more.
About the Role
Wild One is looking for a seasoned Brand Manager who is passionate about building early stage D2C brands and has a keen interest in disrupting the pet space. Our ideal team member has a proven ability to identify cultural trends and adapt them into compelling campaigns through content and partnerships. This role will be responsible for working across our Performance and Brand teams to grow awareness and affinity across our digital channels by tapping into our community feedback and customer insights. You thrive on creative solutions and enjoy being on-set assisting production and crafting digital moments for launches, campaigns and evergreen initiatives.
This is a full-time remote role (US-based). Must be available to travel to on-set photo and video productions in and around NYC. This role reports to the Director of Brand Marketing.
Responsibilities
Own Wild One’s marketing calendar and content production process, including asset planning and copy needs.
Develop product launch strategies that support department and company goals, in partnership with the Director of Brand.
Collaborate with our Performance, Social and Creative team members to ensure all channels are supported and accounted for, for product launches.
Work closely with the Performance team to ensure creative needs are met for ads, email and SMS.
Partner with Social Media Manager to create alignment across customer-facing channels for promotions, launches and evergreen initiatives.
Collaborate with the Creative team for photo and video shoots, ensuring all brand needs are met for pre, during and post-production.
Own the ordering and organization of all product, prop and wardrobe needs for local and remote shoots.
Develop shot lists for photo and video shoots, in collaboration with the Director of Brand.
Manage brand partnerships communications and timelines for campaigns or co-merchandised opportunities.
Create a streamlined content production process for email and advertising needs.
Strong appetite for storytelling and the digital landscape.
Interest in content and background in photography, editing and/or design.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Strong project management skills.
About You
2-4 years of relevant experience in marketing background.
Deep understanding of pre- and post-production process.
Creative mind with an elevated eye for detail and design, tied to modern consumer product trends.
Demonstrated history content planning across paid and organic channels.
A demonstrated ability to tackle projects independently and collectively.
Adept project manager who is experienced managing multiple projects simultaneously with internal and external teams.
Experience producing brand-specific creative content (visual and written).
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to learn on the job, be flexible, ask questions, and be a team player.
Enjoy working with a small team with exposure to several parts of the business, marketing and creative.
