We are recruiting for Graduate Research Executives to join the UU team at Ipsos MORI, who specialise in consumer & commercial research largely with FMCG companies, banks & FinTechs. Research projects would focus on brand, fundamental market understanding, innovation, communications, and customer journey and shopper research. You’ll be helping grow our consumer qualitative business to ensure we are delivering market leading research, answering our client’s business questions with insights that create impact.
We enable our clients to innovate and build their portfolio by understanding consumer motivations & providing recommendations to maximise sales. We deliver in-depth understanding of the drivers of consumer choice and of global marketing challenges. Our research experts provide integrated qualitative research, using traditional methodologies such as focus groups & depth interviews, as well as engaging new digital tools, such as mobile diaries & online communities – which have been critical through the CV19 crisis.

Some of your key roles & responsibilities will include:
Working on the full lifecycle of both UK-only and multi-market global research studies
Helping senior team members to translate client research objectives into engaging qualitative studies that deliver actionable results
Involvement in qualitative moderation of UK studies, with exposure to traditional interview-based methods and regular moderation of digital research methods
Close participation in the brainstorming and proposal writing for new business opportunities; designing bespoke research approaches
The successful candidates will participate in a rounded rotation scheme across the commercial qualitative team, learning from & working with specialists in both (i) ad hoc qual and (ii) long-term online communities. At the end of your graduate year, you will be asked to specify a preference for either specialism, and we will assign candidates to different areas, based on a combination of preference & business needs.

You will be encouraged to take responsibility from the outset - thrown straight into working on live projects. We have a structured programme providing a comprehensive foundation in research and how it is practically applied in a commercial environment. You’ll be trained in client management, project management and the nitty-gritty of research including methodologies, sampling, weighting and ethics. You’ll learn through real life, hands-on experience, webinars, seminars and specialist workshops. We’ll provide you with dedicated training designed to achieve the industry recognised Market Research Society (MRS) Advanced Certificate accreditation.
Those who are successful at the application stage will be progressed to a Skype interview and gamified test. The final stage will be a virtual assessment centre taking place in early December 2020. Therefore, please ensure you apply ASAP to ensure you have a successful chance in the process!
