Job Description
The Senior Events Manager will report into the Director of Events to support the planning and delivery of the events programme, including regular webinars and in-person events. The role will support the planning and delivery of the side event programme at our annual conference, PRI in Person taking place in Toronto on 8-10 October. The role will involve communicating with internal and external stakeholders including speakers. The Events Manager will be required to manage multiple events and projects at the same time.
Core Responsibilities:
Support the Director of Events in delivering against the team’s business plan and budget
Provide regular reporting to the Director of Events and Chief Operating Officer as required Support delivery of webinar programme, liaising with staff and external contacts including speakers and partners
Support delivery of the side event programme at our annual conference, PRI in Person
Create event registration and feedback forms
Prepare and send event emails including marketing emails, delegate communications and event newsletter
Create and update event webpages
Manage delegate registrations
Prepare name badges and materials for in-person events
Support in-person events onsite as needed
Respond to delegate enquiries
Update event data within Salesforce
Report on event data eg: registrations, attendance, feedback
Assist the events team with any other tasks on an ad-hoc basis
Provide regular reporting to the Event Director as required
Please note this role will require the candidate to travel to the event in Toronto for the event in October
Person Specification
Experience in event management with a proven track record of delivering online events
Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills
IT/Digital skills (Microsoft Office, website management systems, CRM, social media, webinar platforms, form builder.)
A collaborative and consultative approach to working with others and committed to fostering an inclusive environment
Very good project management skills, with experience in delivering multiple projects successfully, including directing both internal and external stakeholders
