Job Description

As an Associate Product Manager in PRI you will be responsible for supporting the realisation of the product strategy to create value for signatories while supporting PRIs mission. In this role, you will work with the Product Manager to deliver the product roadmap including planning, delivery, communications, marketing, and in-life optimization of the product.

You will work closely with Product Development, Signatory Services, including Product Support, Marketing, and RI Ecosystem Development, to monitor product performance and opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing innovative products and services that help organizations make informed decisions and achieve their sustainability goals.

Core Responsibilities

  • Work with the Product Manager to determine and deliver the product roadmap managing the product through its lifecycle including delivery cycles.

  • Engage in aspects of product lifecycle management and version delivery as guided by the Product Manager.

  • Support the product through its lifecycle including delivery cycles engaging across the organisation to collate product insights and analysis including performance and inform product management decision-making.

  • Working with Product Analysis and Insights to undertake product performance assessment to identify features and functionality (new and refined) that address evolving user needs and inform future product versions/iterations.

  • Working with the Product Strategy team to monitor product performance metrics against KPIs.

  • Collaborate with the Product Communications, and Signatory Services including Product Support and Marketing teams in the creation of product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new product opportunities including attending conferences and industry events.

  • Participate in product development meetings and workshops to understand signatory needs and gather feedback to improve PRIs products and services.

  • Contribute to improving team processes that enhance product management including roadmap delivery, user experience and value, and contribution to PRIs mission.

  • Provide regular reporting to the Product Managers and Head of Reporting Framework and Assessment Services.

Person Specification

  • Knowledge of product management and the product lifecycle, preferably in a SaaS, RaaS or software/platform development, or data product environment.

  • Interest and understanding of ESG and/or sustainability issues and the key problems facing investors.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

  • Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to support the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget.

  • A collaborative and consultative approach to working with others & a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment locally and across colleagues globally.

  • IT/system skills to an intermediate/advanced level (Microsoft Office).
