AirTree’s looking to add a part-time Finance & Operations Officer to our team!

Based in Sydney, we’re one of the largest and most active venture capital funds in Australia and New Zealand. About the Role

We are looking for a Finance & Operations Officer to join our team for 2 days per week for a 3 month contract initially, with the view to extend further. 

Working closely with the finance and operations team, you will work on projects that ensure our funds get to the next generation of exceptional founders when they need it, our records are up-to-date and our operations are smooth and efficient.  

This is an exciting opportunity to get a comprehensive insight into how the venture capital industry operates. 

What you’ll do 

You will assist with the team with:

• Accounting - reconciling accounts in Xero 

• Investor relations - supporting the IR Manager with investor compliance and reporting   

• Portfolio reporting 

• Compliance (ESVCLP reporting and customer due diligence)

• General business operations 

About You 

We’re looking for someone who has a passion for finance. You could be in your last year of uni or a recent graduate from a Finance or Accounting degree. You’re a pro with Excel and have a good knowledge of Xero. You have a self starter who is very detailed focussed, a team player and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
