Contract Type: Independent Consultant/Contractor
Rate: $425/day, UK £275/day. These rates are non-negotiable. Rates will be adjusted based on location.

Project Description
The Centre for Public Impact is partnering with a large philanthropic organization to design, launch, and manage a global innovation competition focused on applying AI to pressing problems. Winners of the competition will receive significant grant funding and pro bono support from the philanthropic organization. CPI is building a team of a Director, Senior Managers, and Senior Associates to work closely with our partner organization on delivery. The Senior Associate will execute core programme tasks, provide essential coordination and documentation support across the multi-stage application review process, and directly support the Senior Manager and Director in daily programme execution.
The Senior Associate will execute the following core deliverables:
Assist the Director and Senior Manager with strategic outreach efforts to fill application pool gaps and actively track application volumes and trends for data analysis.
Complete rapid, high-volume quick assessment to efficiently filter submissions for the detailed review rounds.
Provide essential administrative and coordination support for all detailed review processes including overseeing the reviewer team, monitoring progress, ensuring deadlines are met, and reallocating capacity when required.
Monitor each grant applicant’s progression through the programme and document the rationale for advancement based on input from technical experts and CPI’s review team.
Produce first drafts of critical programme documents, such as high-quality project summaries and reviews-to-date for grant applicants.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across Google Workspace with the ability to build and manage large datasets using formulas for filtering, organizing, and analysis.
Skilled in creating clear data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and tables
Ability to interpret complex quantitative and qualitative data, identifying patterns and risks, and applying a holistic lens to strengthen processes and improve outcomes.
Experience or understanding of AI or related technologies
