Job Description

About Dot Dot Dot

Dot Dot Dot is a social enterprise which allows people who do brilliant voluntary work to live in buildings that would otherwise be empty. We provide good, inexpensive housing to people who make a difference, we protect buildings for their owners, and we contribute to communities. Everyone wins.

We are looking for someone who shares our excitement about the work we do to join us as a marketing and applications assistant.

You’ll work in our marketing team and with our applications coordinator to educate and engage people about both guardianship and Dot Dot Dot. The role has a dual focus - you’ll support the team to create a multi-channel sales and marketing plan to attract clients and guardians to Dot Dot Dot, and funnel people through our applications process.

As well as the opportunity to see your work making a tangible difference, in this role you will benefit from a pleasant, friendly company environment, a competitive salary and terms of employment which aim to support a good work-life balance. Read on to find out more.

About You

You’re likely to be able to demonstrate experience of, or aptitude for much of the following:

  • Your interest in and commitment to our mission and values as an organisation.

  • A desire to improve your knowledge and skills in marketing, communications and sales.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and great attention to detail.

  • Flexibility in approach and good at dealing with a diverse range of projects.

  • Friendly, approachable and professional attitude.

  • Good problem-solving skills.

  • Focused on achieving good outcomes.

  • Willingness to work as a team, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

  • Ability to self-motivate, to manage your own time and to work on your own initiative.
