Job Description

The Green Party’s General Election Constituencies Manager will be extremely driven and absolutely determined to win seats and secure other strong constituency results at the next General Election. You will find working with others to be energising and will naturally want to help bring out the best in everyone. You will have played a role in General Election campaigns before and understand what it takes to win votes at a constituency level. You will be absolutely focussed on making a big breakthrough at the next General Election.

The Green Party has been undergoing significant change in the past few years with increasingly effective electoral operations. In order to achieve the party’s political objectives, the party has invested significantly in election campaigning, which has seen significant growth in the number of Green councillors nationwide and record results at other elections with excellent results in May 2021. The new post of General Election Constituencies Manager will play a pivotal role in the coming years to enable the party to achieve its top priority in its new political strategy – electing Green Members of Parliament. The postholder will need to set up systems and strengthen our operating model to ensure that the candidates and campaign managers involved in constituency campaigns can achieve, while ensuring the Green Party centrally leaves no stone unturned in our local-national partnership to win more seats at the next General Election.
