We’re now searching for a product manager to lead in the implementation and management of our private investor club, Unreasonable Collective. The Manager will be tasked with facilitating the end to end curation of Unreasonable Collective - product definition, launch to market, marketing to and recruitment of initial Members, and then once up and running, managing the Member experience throughout their Membership lifecycle. This role is all about setting the tone for the kind of exceptional community that we already are, and the unprecedented one we strive to become – essentially, living and breathing the Unreasonable values. We will know we’re on the right track when editors of major publications and organizers of gatherings like TED and Davos approach us as the go-to leaders in what it takes to build one of the most purposeful and effective investment communities on the planet. 

Strategic Objective

Lead the Unreasonable Collective Product: develop and implement a coordinated strategy that not only deeply interconnects our Fellows with Members of the product, but also expands the community in alignment with our global identity value, in a way that drives resources to and breaks down barriers for our Fellows year-round, at scale. 

Key Areas of Focus

  • SYSTEMATIZE how best to make the process of getting Members into the community seamlessly, understanding that it will continually evolve;

  • ACTIVATE our current global network of 400+ Mentors & Specialists, transforming them into thriving and engaged investors that consistently drives value to our Fellows;

  • GROW the community to encompass even more badass, humble, and helpful Members with a strong focus on diversity, inclusion and global identity;

  • EVOLVE tools in partnership with the Tech team to make it easy and accessible for Members  to support Fellows year-round, constantly experimenting with ways to reduce the friction to participate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Head of Investments to develop, document, and continually evolve a strategy for Collective Members which includes but is not limited to:

    • Identify tiers of prominence (individual, UNHW, Family Offices etc)

    • Details of engagement of the community

    • Diversity and inclusion strategy and objectives

  • Establish, continually refine, and manage processes to secure the most influential and impactful members possible for the Unreasonable Collective

  • Master company-wide CRM, email, and proprietary IT systems to streamline all processes and systems across member recruitment and ongoing relationship management

  • Develop target numbers, types, and names of members in collaboration with Unreasonable Senior Leadership

  • Draft professional and compelling invitations for members and create/coordinate additional recruiting materials as needed (testimonials, videos, flyers, etc.)

  • Update and disseminate Frequently Asked Questions documents to members prior to onboarding 

  • Schedule and lead group and individual briefing calls with members prior to joining

  • Extend formal invitations and manage all communications with members 

  • Co-lead on orientation and welcoming all members to the Collective

  • Facilitate and host both in person and virtual events for the Investor Community

    • Manage logistics planning and execution of the Unreasonable Collective both on virtual programming and eventually select offline events 

    • Collaborate across various teams at Unreasonable to ensure a seamless event planning process

  • Liaise with high-profile guests, via email or phone, and serve as their liaison around the product

  • Champion Unreasonable Diversity and Inclusion policies and objectives to ensure our community truly reflects Unreasonable values and global aspirations

  • Lead in the creation and execution of members community engagement outside of Collective events (i.e. birthday messages, small gifting and acknowledgements, etc.)

    • Record Member personal preferences in company CRM to ensure a remarkable holistic Member experience

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR....

  • You have experience in event logistics, program management, customer experience and/or as an executive assistant 

  • You are a logistics master, who loves coordinating across many groups of people 

  • You don’t just double check your work, you triple and quadruple check because there’s no other way

  • You are passionate about delivering experiences and love nothing more than enjoying your hard work pay off with guests who are absolutely blown away by the experience you’ve helped curate 

  • You thrive when juggling many moving parts simultaneously, and you can turn up the hustle when necessary

  • You are comfortable with minimal direction but high expectations

  • You are at ease and can connect with and/or collaborate with the most senior executives (CEOs, Presidents, Prime Ministers, luminaries…) as well as the most junior representatives in any situation 

  • You love the creative touches and have a great design aesthetic and taste (one that others regularly remark on)

  • You are equally able to work alongside a partner or team as well as have an ability to take full ownership of a project from start to finish

  • You believe deeply in the importance of transparent and honest communication

  • You always follow up and follow through on time

  • You are never the person who says, “That’s not my job”

  • You believe that when work is done well, magic is in the details

APPLICATION TIMELINE 

  • September 1st: Application goes live.

  • September 14th: Your application is due.

  • September 16th -18th: If you are invited to the next round of the process, we will schedule a 20 minute phone call with you.

  • September 18th -22nd​: We will give select applicants a small “trial project” representative of the type of work associated with this position. Though we will give you 5 days to finish your "trial project," it should only take a few hours to complete.

  • September 24th - September 29th: Assuming both of us want to continue exploring the potential of working together, we'll invite you to interview with our team.

  • October 1st - 2nd​: We will conduct reference checks on the two to three most compelling applicants for this position.

  • October 5th: Assuming you made it through the reference checks, you will be notified whether or not the position is yours.

  • October 26th: Ideally, those accepted will be able to join the company no later than October 26th, 2020.
