Job Description
We are looking for a freelance creative project and event manager to join our School Support (marketing) team. Three days a week for three months (possibility of extension and additional days). Indicative rate £300 per day.

Oak is here to improve pupil outcomes and close the disadvantage gap by supporting teachers to teach, and pupils to access a high-quality curriculum. We work with schools, teachers and the wider education system to create and support the use of world-class digital education products built around our rigorous, high-quality curriculum.

This role involves working with Oak's School Support (marketing) team to manage a range of projects.
This will include:
Managing the end-to-end delivery of creative and brand projects, from developing briefs to final delivery
Planning and coordinating events from start to finish, including Oak's upcoming Hackathon events
Managing the full event lifecycle, from sourcing and managing external suppliers through to marketing the event itself and event day operations management
Recruiting, and managing the relationship with, external suppliers and agencies
Managing project budgets and reporting to Oak's finance team
Communicating with internal stakeholder across the full Oak team
You will need:
Experience managing the full cycle of creative and brand projects, in either an agency or in-house project management role
Experience of working with external suppliers
Experience in providing freelance services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work at pace with minimal supervision
