We help solve some of the world’s most pressing issues with our unique blend of academic rigour and commercial relevance. Role profile

As a Graduate Consultant, you will work on project teams that serve a range of government, not-for-profit and commercial clients. You will work on a diverse range of projects across industries and topics, with senior executives and leaders from some of the most influential organisations in Australia.

Our graduates are an integral part of the firm. You will be given significant responsibility and ownership over your work and are expected to play a key role in the project team. Your work will be a critical part of the problem-solving process and will involve: applying quantitative, analytical and modelling skills to uncover insights; drafting client presentations; and presenting at client meetings.

AlphaBeta strives to be the best environment for exceptional people, and we place the highest priority on your professional development. We provide formal and informal training, and every consultant is paired with a mentor from our leadership team who will help you nurture and develop your skills, meet your goals, and stay at the edge of your comfort zone.

Applicants with a master’s degree or above may be considered for more senior positions if supported by appropriate work experience.

Application process

Stage 1 (current stage)

The online application process involves two online tests: a 30-minute multiple choice section; and an untimed short-answer test. Please leave at least 1 hour to complete the tests. You’ll also need to upload your CV and academic transcript. Any incomplete applications will not be processed further.

Our graduate applications will open on 21st February and close at 11:59PM Saturday 23 March.

Stage 2

If your application is accepted, you will be invited to a group assessment, where you’ll be asked to complete a group case study, individual test, and short one-on-one interview. The group assessments will take place between 3-5th April.

Stage 3

If you are successful in the group assessments, you will then have two one-on-one interviews with our senior leadership team and will be asked to solve a case. More information about the case interview will be given in Stage 2. Final round interviews will take place between 10-12th April.

If you have any questions or issues, please contact gradrecruitment@alphabeta.com.

AlphaBeta is a fast-growing firm and we are looking for talented and ambitious graduates to join us. We look forward to reviewing your application.
