Role Summary

Reporting to the ScreenWorks Lead and the Activation Lead (NI), the ScreenWorks Coordinator will play a key role engaging Schools and supporting them to access the ScreenWorks project.  They work alongside the NI Activation team and deliver an excellent level of customer service.

Due to the nature of the role, occasional weekend and extended working hours are required, along with regular travel to designated regions and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK.

 Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the delivery of the ScreenWorks operational plan.

  • Work with the ScreenWorks Lead to ensure that ScreenWorks programmes are fully subscribed and appropriately resourced with materials.

  • Support teachers/educators/parents via phone, email or face-to-face with any ScreenWorks enquiries.

  • Support industry professionals with their preparation for delivering ScreenWorks programmes.

  • Maintain accurate reports, digital records and statistical analysis of all ScreenWorks activity.

  • Maintain a database of active and potential Screenwork’s facilitators.

  • Provide logistical support and catalogue ScreenWorks applications from young people.

  • Support the ScreenWorks Lead in developing a network of strategic partners including BFI Academy, Creative Learning Centres and the FAN network, and ensure that schools/young people are aware of any additional opportunities.

  • Work with NI Activation Team to deliver targeted and communications to Post Primary Schools and FE colleges in NI.

  • Responsible for CRM management of ScreenWorks activity, ensuring that all data is clean and updated, including all non-automated activity and multiple school registrations.

  • Ensure all ScreenWorks activity is monitored, recorded and reported, and used to inform ongoing project activity.

  • Collate information and assist with reporting on monthly/quarterly Key Performance Indicators.

  • To work with all departments at Into Film to ensure a joined-up approach and delivery of set outcomes, KPIs whilst adhering to budgets and deadlines

  • Keep up to date with the Careers information within NI Schools.

  • Undertake general administrative and office management tasks to support the smooth running of the team and the office, including, but not limited to: booking travel, dealing with purchase orders and invoices, and ordering stationery.

  • Being present in the Into Film offices in Belfast during delivery of ScreenWorks programmes.

  • Maintain the ScreenWorks social media accounts and contribute to content and strategy.

 General Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to long term planning to ensure growth in line with demand and resources.

  • Contribute to the regular monitoring and evaluation of Into Film’s work.

 Person Specification:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in activating and delivering a programme of activity within an educational/youth context including training, workshops, events and panels.

  • Experience of successfully delivering projects on budget and on time.

  • Ability to work across a variety of strands within programmes

  • An awareness of Safeguarding ad  child protection

  • Experience and knowledge of project planning liaising across different departments delivering to time and both managing expectations and achieving the necessary buy-in from industry.

  • Good working knowledge of CRM systems, campaign measurement tools, analytics, metrics and insights.

  • Good time and project management skills, an ability to prioritise a busy work schedule and to work remotely as required.

  • Experience of providing administrative support to a small team.

  • Experience of interpreting and reporting on data and using it to inform ongoing practice.

  • A good understanding of the screen industries in Northern Ireland

  • A good understanding of the education market and how teachers can use film (and the arts more broadly) to meet their teaching and learning objectives. 

  • A good understanding of the BFI, the FAN network and other regional film/arts organisations.

  • First-class communication skills (verbal and written).

Desirable:

  • Experience of developing and implementing email campaigns

  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office

  • A love and knowledge of film
