The Opportunity

We have an opening for a Senior Field Technology and Network Analyst in our Field Technology, Networks, and OT Security team. Individuals must be able to work from one of our Calgary, Denver, or North Dakota offices and will require travel to the field. This role will collaborate with the Field Operations team to develop and deliver IT solutions, security standards, and systems for Corporate and Industrial networks. This position will develop and implement policies and procedures, conduct vulnerability and Security Architecture assessments, and provide feedback on issues related to the execution of the program. The ideal candidate will have strong professional expertise in IT and OT and the ability to understand and apply complex principles practically. The ideal candidate will also have experience with IOT devices and be a key anchor point for ops teams to engage for general questions or issues.  

   

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with the IT and OT groups to help drive cost-effective and efficient integration between the SCADA technology and the processes and procedures in place to support compliance 

  • Provide reporting to technical and non-technical stakeholders and executives 

  • Tower and security camera installations  

  • Provide guidance on validation/QA processes for projects that impact plant spectrum or structure 

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Operations team members

The Requirements  

  • Legally able to work in the US 

  • At least five years of experience with network architecture design and deployment 

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science 

  • Certifications in MS, Cisco, and Palo Alto preferred 

  • Field experience and certifications (H2S, First Aid, Safe Driving) preferred
