Historic England has a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as our Project Officer Staff Conference.
This is part time (0.5 FTE), 14 month fixed-term contract.
The location of this role is either York, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Cambridge, Swindon, Bristol or Portsmouth, inclusive with hybrid working.
Salary
National: £33,594 pro-rata
Greater London+: £37,160 pro-rata

What you will be doing
We are seeking a Project Officer to ensure the coordination and delivery of our Staff Conference 2027, which consists of three in-person events in three locations. The conference will bring together employees from different regions, with each in-person event hosting between 170 and 280 attendees. The successful candidate will be responsible for project management of the Staff Conference 27 project including documentation and scheduling of activities.
Who we are looking for
Demonstrable experience of supporting delivery of several simultaneous projects and ideally events
Ability to work across teams and gain collaboration
Experience of implementing project management techniques and approaches
Ability to work independently, use own initiative, prioritise and suggest improvements
