Pause works with women who have experienced – or are at risk of – repeated pregnancies that result in children needing to be removed from their care. The programme gives women the chance to pause and take control over their lives, breaking a destructive cycle that causes both them and their children deep trauma. We are now working with more women who have experienced multiple removals than anyone else in the country.

Our Finance Manager is a key role in the national team, ensuring Pause’s finances are well planned and run, our reporting is accurate and clear and meets all regulatory requirements, and our systems and processes are fit for purpose.

We’re looking for a brilliant Finance Manager who is as comfortable reporting to the trustees and managing risk as they are rolling up their sleeves and keeping the day-to-day accounts in good order. We are a small team and rely on our Finance Manager for expertise, advice, attention to detail and creativity in problem solving. No two days are the same at Pause and being able to adapt and flex to respond to the changing environment is essential.
