Job Description

We are excited to be hiring a Consultant with 4-8years’ experience in the solar PV sector. You will be joining a dynamic international team with an abundance of solar experience in Europe and an ambition to expand into other emerging markets. 

  • Package: A competitive basic salary related to your experience, plus pension scheme, annual profit share and route into company ownership.

Your role 

Your work will be mainly technical and commercial consultancy services to solar PV projects and to a less extent in hybrid projects. You will work with different people from the Everoze team in France but also with colleagues from other teams (UK, Iberia, Australia). 

Specific activities will include: 

  • Lead technical and commercial due diligence for solar PV and hybrid projects, including project management and support for financial transactions. 

  • Assess project risks and recommend mitigation strategies. 

  • Evaluate areas such as permits, environmental factors, design, tariffs, land, grid connection, contracts, and timelines. 

  • Conduct energy production assessments using advanced tools and Everoze methodologies. 

  • Perform and lead site inspections for audits and project monitoring, primarily in France. 

  • Contribute to strategic, R&D, and business development activities to grow client relationships. 

  • Manage multiple projects, resources, budgets, and profitability 

 

Essential skills and qualifications 

  • Engineering or Master’s degree with electrical or renewable energy knowledge. 

  • Native/fluent in French and English (spoken and written). 

  • 4-8 years’ experience within the solar PV industry, ideally as a consultant, for example: 

  • Knowledge of the life of a PV project (development, construction, operations, etc.). 

  • Capable of carrying out energy yield assessment based on meteorological resources databases and PVsyst simulations tool. 

  • Strong consultancy skills, including effective communication and adaptability to meet deadlines and client needs. 

  • Willingness to travel for project work and site inspections.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and build lasting client relationships. 

  • Skilled in writing clear, concise reports and comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving project environments.
