Job Description
This role leads the strategic direction and delivery of all internal communications (including our network of food banks across the UK). This role will develop a proactive plan to ensure staff and food banks feel connected to the Trussell Trust, encourage collaboration, and help foster an inspiring, vibrant culture that embeds our values.
Role responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of a communications strategy, across several channels including an intranet, email bulletins, and regular newsletters, for internal audiences that embed our values and keeps audiences informed, motivated and aligned
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure key information flows across the organisation and network in a timely, transparent and efficient manner
Embed comprehensive communications channels and storytelling processes to ensure our messages are reaching our internal audiences effectively
Act as a partner to the CEO and senior leadership group on change projects, vital updates and crisis management, and lead on spokesperson briefings for key events
Provide specialist communications consultancy to senior colleagues and food banks that inspires and helps upskill communications expertise across the organisation and network
Participate in regular 1:1s and annual reviews, contributing to the identification of objectives and targets, and monitoring progress towards them.
