Job Description

This role provides one-to-one Executive Assistant support for the Director Volunteer Operations (DVO), plus a wide variety of operational support within Volunteer Operations directorate and across SSAFA’s network of 5,000+ volunteers. 

It is interesting and varied, with opportunities to use your initiative and take on specific projects on behalf of the DVO. 

About the team 

The role lies within the Volunteer Operations directorate and the post-holder will work collaboratively with the other team members, senior volunteers and external stakeholders to ensure the timely, consistent and quality delivery of services to beneficiaries. 

About you 

Essential to the smooth running of the department, this role requires not only exceptional administration skills but also an ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships, good time management and a can-do attitude. 

You will be willing to learn new skills, adept at managing multiple demands on your time and a good communicator.
