Interested in joining our team? We are hiring for a Joint Venture Accountant in our US Finance team. This position can be based in our Denver, Colorado office or our Calgary, Alberta office. This position will report to the Supervisor, JV & AP Accounting. This role will be responsible for our operated JIB activities, including property allocations, overhead, disputed charges, AR reconciliation and monitoring, and internal billable costs. The successful applicate will be detailed oriented, collaborative across the company, proficient in excel, and have a good knowledge of COPAS guidelines. You will be in contact with various internal and external stakeholders so communication and inter-personal skills should be excellent. 

Position Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Oil and Gas   

High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred   

In addition to the position requirements, preferred experience and education includes:

Understanding of JIB Decks, Allocations and JIB Close process 

Experience preparing monthly reconciliations  

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Quorum, OpenInvoice, Energy Link  

Sales and Use Tax knowledge 

Working knowledge of COPAS Guidance  

Detail-oriented with effective time management and organizational skills
