Job Description
We are looking for an experienced digital media professional, with in depth experience planning, buying & optimizing digital media, to join our global team.
The role focuses on Daimler’s ‘Overseas’ Region – a diverse set of markets, including Russia, Middle East, South East Asia, Japan, South Korea, Latina, Turkey, Australasia & South Africa. AMQ are tasked with driving digital transformation across the region & expanding Daimler’s 1-2-1 marketing activities to deliver improved marketing performance. You will work as part of a global team of 35+ experts across strategy, digital, data & analytics, adtech & operations & network leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Work with AMQ market digital specialists to deliver progressive improvement in Search, Social & Programmatic and the integration across digital c hannels
· Be the ‘go to’ digital performance expert for Daimler Region Overseas clients – deliver performance reviews & updates on market acceleration plans
· Ensure that digital performance activity managed by AMQ markets support Daimler’s priorities
· Work with AMQ global specialists to land specific initiatives across markets – e.g. new ad tech, Search & Social best practices
· Manage the delivery of the digital aspects of the AMQ market acceleration program across Region Overseas
· Manage specific client priorities – e.g. on / offline lead measurement, innovation pilots, benchmarking, digital performance reporting
· Facilitate specific digital initiatives - application of AI driven targeting, DCO, new tagging & tracking implementation
· Collaborate with agency, client and AMQ / OMG partners on joint initiatives – e.g. the development of marketing performance dashboard & digital KPIs
· Trouble-shooting with markets to address specific challenges & identify solutions
· Proactively work with local market teams to help them optimize to digital performance KPIs
· Support development of AMQ / Daimler’s centralized digital media activation
Reporting
· The role reports into the Network lead for Region Overseas
· Part of the AMQ ‘team within a team’ of 10, focused on Region Overseas
· The team includes Network leadership and coordination, strategy & insights, DMP & data partnerships. Search and Social experts
· You will primarily work into Daimler’s Region Overseas team – based in Stuttgart & Malaysia, with regular client contact and day to day engagement with AMQ experts & local AMQ digital specialists
· You will collaborate with AMQ digital capability leads in Data, Digital Strategy, Search, Social, Programmatic, Ad Operations
· You will be supported directly by a digital executive, focused on consistent market campaign implementation, reporting and embedding best practice processes
Measurement
· Define & deliver digital objectives – part of AMQ’s acceleration plans across the region
· Daimler evaluation feedback on service, specialist skills, expertise & solutions
· AMQ 360 market feedback – contribution to developing their skills & capabilities
· Improvement in digital performance results
· Establish consistent application of digital KPIs & goal setting
ABOUT YOU
· Experience in digital roles in a media agency
· Thinking beyond just digital metrics. Translation of results into real life action is crucial
· Strategic understanding of how digital performance media can best be leveraged to drive meaningful business outcomes for clients
· Strong digital activation & operational experience & technical know how
· Even though this a more strategic role, hands on experience in the planning, buying & optimisation of Search / Social media is preferred
· Day to day experience working with programmatic media – how to plan / buy / measure / improve performance
· Experience defining addressable audiences, working with DSPs & leveraging DMP platform
· Ability to evaluate digital performance, define digital KPIs, set goals, reporting & define the requirements for tracking
· Practical, working knowledge of ad operations, adserving, tagging & tracking
· Experience working with ad verification tools & on-site analytics tools – eg. GA360 (Daimler’s Onsite analytics solution, also used for media attribution)
· Experience working in a multi-market environment, developing & supporting specialists
· Clear communication – ability to communicate processes, action plans, results to senior / junior clients and local market teams
· Project management – the ability to galvanise a diverse team of digital specialists to achieve specific goals / tasks
· Proactivity & anticipation to lead the agenda
