About the position:

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, early stage company in a dynamic, impactful industry. The Marketing Analyst will support the growth-focused functions of the Marketing team by coordinating the lead generating efforts. The Analyst will be primarily tasked with launching, tracking, and optimizing programs and campaigns across multiple channels to move prospects and customers down the funnel in close collaboration with our BD team. The Analyst will also support general Marketing functions across the team related to event planning and content development. The candidate must be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and technical skills and the ability to make recommendations based on data insights.The Marketing Analyst role will report to the Marketing Manager and will be instrumental in helping to grow a new and pioneering business.

The primary responsibilities for this role include:

  • Manage various distribution channels (paid ads, targeted campaigns, social media, website, etc.) to generate demand and improve inbound requests

  • Use a data driven approach to assess campaign success, develop track KPI metrics, and optimize future campaign tactics

  • Assist with event planning for BlueMark webinars by coordinating with speakers, preparing materials, and developing content for marketing campaigns

  • Manage logistics around BlueMark’s conference sponsorships and external-facing events

  • Work cross-functionally with Data, R&D, and Sales teams around thought leadership and outreach efforts

  • Manage calendar of speaking engagements and media interviews

  • Provide coordination support for BlueMark leadership ahead of conferences, webinars, and speaking engagements

  • Contribute to BlueMark’s marketing strategy by ensuring marketing campaigns are aligned with key business targets and audiences


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a B2B Product Marketing Management or Marketing/Brand Strategy role

  • Understanding of the impact or sustainability investing industry preferred

  • Event coordination experience and/or experience supporting senior leadership in an administrative capacity

  • Experience managing social media marketing campaigns

  • Web design and/or email marketing experience preferred though not required

  • Curious and energized by a deep understanding of what clients care about

  • Aptitude for working in a small business environment

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail and organization

  • High level of personal and professional integrity

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative disposition, with a bias towards action

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion

  • What will the hiring process look like?

  • Hiring Process: Our timeline from the application close date to decision typically takes ~5-6 weeks. Below are the steps week by week:

  • Week 1-2 - Applications are blind-reviewed after the application close date: Our process is designed to remove bias by having your application answers randomly assigned to our team for review. Two team members score the responses based on a set of guidelines. The candidates with the highest average scores get invited to the interview round. We do not look at resumes and we do not know whose answers we are scoring. We embrace a diversity of working styles and backgrounds and believe that limiting applications to resumes fails to capture the full potential of an individual.

  • Week 2-4 - Behavioral Interview - The first interview is a 45-minute structured interview with non-senior team members.

  • Week 4-6 - Senior Management Interview: The candidates with the highest average scores from the first round interview are invited to a second structured interview with Senior Management.
