The Mark Leonard Trust
The Trust aims to use all its resources, investments, grants, and networks to achieve its charitable purposes. It often supports smaller, early-stage organisations through long-term funding and developmental support. The Trust’s priority areas are “Food and Farming” and “Harnessing the Power of the Creative Arts”.
The Aurora Trust
The Trust’s primary focus is tackling climate change through its programme areas, Sustainable Farming, Stopping Deforestation, Home Energy Efficiency and Connecting People with Nature.
The Climate Change Collaboration
The Climate Change Collaboration is a partnership between the Aurora Trust, the Mark Leonard Trust and the JJ Charitable Trust (another SFCT). The three Trusts formed the Collaboration in 2011 in response to the growing urgency of climate change.
The Climate Change Collaboration’s mission is to support efforts which help stabilise global temperatures to 1.5 degrees, restore our natural world, and support a regenerative economy. It aims to help reshape market norms, incentives and structures and create a political mandate to keep fossil fuels in the ground and accelerate finance into climate and nature solutions.
