Anthesis Consulting Group is a fast-growing, innovative environmental and sustainability consultancy founded on the belief that commercial success and sustainability go hand in hand. From its initial set up in 2013, the company has grown significantly through a number of strategic business acquisitions supported by organic growth. Currently we employ approximately 450 staff and have offices in the U.S, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Andorra, Sweden, Finland, China, Colombia, the Philippines and the Middle East.

To support our internal infrastructure in this exciting period of growth, we are seeking an inquisitive, confident, proactive and passionate Content and PR Executive to further strengthen our global Marketing operations. This role will require the candidate to support the growth and content creation for our client portal as well as the wider, global business. They will also take a leading responsibility in our PR strategy, managing both the internal administration of our PR and nurturing our external relationships with journalists.

This position will report into our London-based Global Head of Marketing and Communications and would suit a confident and inquisitive individual who’s not afraid to take initiative and is able to work with colleagues globally.

Your responsibilities

Assisting our Marketing Manager, based in North America, to source exclusive and unique content for our client network.

Copy writing and copy editing content to a high standard.

Conducting interviews with senior members of the business and external clients where relevant.

Supporting our client managers to seek out new case studies and testimonials.

Proactively thinking about new story angles, with the ability to then develop a pitch and subsequent materials.

Managing and nurturing our relationships with journalists.

Monitoring incoming opportunities for external features.

Compiling forward feature lists from journalists.

Sending out press releases and following up with journalists.

Seeking out and supporting award and event submissions.

Anthesis is a fast-growing and fast-paced business and the above role is unlikely to remain static, therefore this is not an exhaustive list of duties and other tasks may be expected to be performed as necessitated by the overall business growth plans of the Group.

Requirements and skills

Educated to degree level or equivalent (preferred but not essential)

At least 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to interact with a range of stakeholders

A self‐motivated team player who can act independently or as part of a team

Ability to work both globally and remotely

Highly motivated and organized

Exceptional eye for detail

Excellent prioritisation skills

A keen interest in sustainability
