Job Description

The Wave, Bristol, are on the lookout for a strategic Head of Executive Projects to join our team.

As the Head of Executive Projects, you will be responsible for ensuring effective communication and coordination across all functions of the organisation, managing key projects, and providing strategic insights and analysis to assist in decision-making. Serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO by participating in high-level meetings and helping to develop and implement the company's vision and strategy. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional initiatives, monitor progress against goals, and help drive operational efficiencies.

The Role:

As Head of Executive Projects, you will:

  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and other senior leaders

  • Drive and manage cross-functional projects and initiatives

  • Evaluate and interpret data to extract insights and make data-driven recommendations

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams

  • Drive process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

  • Support the CEO in building and maintaining solid relationships with external stakeholders

The Candidate:

They are looking for a Head of Executive Projects who is:

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented

  • Capable of building solid relationships and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels

  • A background in a similar role, such as a Chief of Staff or in a strategic planning capacity

  • Exceptional at problem-solving and analytical thinking

  • Able to translate complex ideas into actionable plans

  • Solid project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication

  • A background in the technology or environmental sector (preferred)
