The role is within Digital Tools who work closely with other Technology teams, including Cyber Security and Technical Architecture (Cloud, AWS, Azure and Data), to ensure M365 tools and solutions are secure, well-designed and fit for purpose.
The Senior Digital Delivery Manager role is responsible for driving structured delivery across digital services and technical workstreams, ensuring work progresses at pace, risks are surfaced early, and dependencies are actively managed.
The role brings clarity, momentum, and visibility to delivery.

Job description
As a Senior Delivery Manager, you'll:
Set clear delivery plans for agreed work, including milestones, ownership, timelines and dependencies
Maintain delivery momentum by removing blockers and addressing drift or unmanaged scope
Ensure teams understand priorities, delivery commitments and what success looks like
Coordinate operational, technical and business stakeholders to support timely delivery
Ensure the right people are engaged at the right points, preventing handoff gaps or ownership confusion
Clarify roles and responsibilities where ambiguity exists across teams or workstreams
Actively manage risks, issues and dependencies, maintaining a live RAID log and escalating early where required
Apply proportionate delivery approaches, including milestone‑based, phased or iterative methods, introducing sprint‑based delivery where appropriate
Ensure solutions transition smoothly into live service, with agreed ownership, documentation and support arrangements in place
Person specification
As a Senior Delivery Manager, you'll have:
A minimum of 3 years experience driving delivery in complex digital or technical environments
Experience planning and tracking delivery against milestones and agreed timelines
Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous or evolving work
Strong risk, issue, and dependency management capability
Strong written and verbal reporting skills, including communicating risks and delivery status to senior stakeholders
Experience supporting high‑performing delivery teams through effective planning, coordination and issue resolution
Experience applying proportionate delivery approaches suited to the context (e.g. milestone-based, phased or iterative delivery)
Desirable experience:
Exposure to digital transformation or legacy modernisation programmes
Relevant certifications (e.g. AgilePM, Scrum, SAFe, MSP, Prince2 Agile)
Familiarity with ServiceNow and enterprise digital tooling environments (e.g. Microsoft 365)
