We’re looking for a Business Development Assistant to support our growing Lending team

Habito is a mortgage broker and lender in one. Our brokerage is transforming the  way mortgage advice is done. And our lending team is transforming the mortgages themselves – creating brand new, innovative mortgages, like Habito One.

As our business development assistant, you’ll help us sell those Habito mortgages. We’ll train you up to become an expert in our benefits, criteria, policy, process, all of it. You’ll use that knowledge to bring in new brokers, build trusted relationships with them, and support them through their Habito mortgage applications.

It’s a real bonus if you’ve had some experience at a UK mortgage lender – be it in business development, account management, or customer service.

More about what you’ll do:

• Introduce and sell our Habito mortgages to new brokers. Our aim is to get 10% month on month sales growth. You’ll be a key part of that. 

• Support brokers through the mortgage application process. Train them to use our application system. Guide them through any technical and operational bumps in the road.

• Help make our processes better. Keep an eye on what customers and brokers are telling us – what’s blocking them, where we can improve our technology. Use this feedback to help us improve the way we do applications, underwriting and sales.

• Guide our trading strategy by spotting trends and places we can improve. You’ll be one of our team members who’s closest to brokers, so your thoughts and ideas will be vital to our future plans.
