Satellite Applications Catapult is developing a new testing facility aimed at emulating real world on-the-move satellite communications in a controlled environment. As part of this, a motion platform has been procured for moving and rotating a satellite communication terminal in a repeatable and realistic manner. This project aims to develop a new software application to simulate the movement of marine, land and air vehicles on a motion platform for testing of antenna terminals.
