The ECF (Early Careers Framework) Faculty Team works within the Programmes team to prioritise design and delivery of a truly school-led ECF programme which is responsive to National and local school needs and relevant to the local contexts in which our teachers work. Our purpose is to give Early Careers Teachers the best possible start to their careers by working alongside them to ensure they get what they need at the right times. Our focus is always on retention of teachers in this wonderful career and thus we keep wellbeing and workload at the forefront of decisions we make, consulting with our participants at each stage.
The ECF Faculty is comprised of the Head of Faculty, a Faculty Coordinator and regional teams made up of expert colleagues who work to support the faculty. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Faculty and support them in ensuring a continued focus on the key priorities of the faculty, working between the regional teams as a central contact.
About the Role
The ECF Programme Manager is responsible for the proactive and effective planning, execution and administration of our ECF programme within the campus. The ECF Programme Manager reports into the national Head of ECF and will work closely with their counterparts at our regional campuses to ensure that our ECF provision is of consistently high quality.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our ECF programme and work in close collaboration with colleagues nationally to continuously improve the quality of teacher development. The successful candidate will be a great communicator and problem-solver who enjoys the regular contact and dialogue with our participants, partners and outside organisations.

Main Duties & Key Responsibilities
Ensure effective communications with participants.
Acquire venues, resources and co-ordinate the efforts of facilitators, coaches, placement schools etc, in order to deliver all levels according to plans.
Ensure that records are maintained in line with contract requirements and for reporting purposes.
Respond to improvement priorities locally or nationally.
Support the delivery of digital systems that are well integrated to allow for a seamless participant experience.
Help improve the quality of our materials and resources to support participants in their learning and development.
Work closely with the ECF Faculty team to prepare and deliver the national elements of our ECF programme.
Build effective and positive relationships with our Associate Colleges.
Provide training on Institute systems, processes and quality standards to Associate Colleges and other partners where required.
Carry our quality assurance, assessing need and deliver appropriate training where necessary.
Analyse and report data from a variety of sources to contribute to continuous improvement of the faculty.
Work across faculty areas to seek best practice and support implementation whilst always keeping wellbeing and workload at the fore.
Communicate changes and developments relating to the programme to Associate Colleges ensuring that they have access to curriculum and administration resources.
Represent the campus and Institute at events in a positive and constructive manner.
Be aware of and comply with policies and procedure relating to health and safety, security and reporting to concerns in accordance with procedures.

Outstanding track record of development and delivery against tight timelines.

The ability to quality-assure delivery and programme experience across multiple programmes.
The ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team.
A pro-active, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to thrive in a start-up environment.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Desirable Criteria
Qualified Teacher Status
Deep understanding of school need in the geographic area.
Previous work experience in Microsoft Teams and Dynamics.
A degree and/or professional qualification relevant to the post and/or equivalent learning through professional experience.
Working at the National Institute of Teaching
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £45,441 to £48,474 per annum + benefits
