Job Description

Historic England have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as our Portfolio Assistant.
This is a Full Time, Fixed-Term Contract until 31st October 2025.
The location of this role is National where we offer hybrid working, you will be based in one of our following offices and from home - Newcastle, York, Manchester, Birmingham, Swindon, Bristol, Portsmouth (Fort Cumberland) and Cambridge.

What you will be doing
The Portfolio Assistant will provide the Portfolio Development & Delivery Department with support to deliver our portfolio of projects and initiatives. They will work closely with colleagues to provide meeting/administrative support, along with circulating agendas, notes and reports.
You will work closely with the Portfolio Officer and Portfolio Manager to; Support the collection and production of portfolio level data; Provide administrative support to the Head of Portfolio Development & Delivery; Support the delivery of programmes, projects and initiatives across Historic England (HE)’s portfolio of work.
