Some of your key tasks and responsibilities will include…

You will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible finance team member for a range of entities which, will include property trusts, the management company and other corporate entities.

· General ledger maintenance and preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations

· Perform analysis of monthly/quarterly results and prepare management reports

· Preparation of Board Reports

· Preparation of Financial Statements

· Responding to auditor queries with respect of the year end audit process

· Preparation of AFSL cash flow forecasts and financial calculations

· Cash flow management and forecasting

· Preparation/review of Income Tax, Payroll Tax, and FBT Calculations

· Preparation/review of BAS and other activity statements

· Providing coaching and support to less experienced team members

· Involvement in forecasting / budgeting

· Trust distribution and unit pricing calculations.

Skills and experience

· 5-7+ years accounting experience, investment management experience will be highly regarded.

· CA/CPA qualification preferred

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Team Player

· Strong analytical skills

· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to self-review.

This position is a full time flexible time role. Candidates wanting part time employment (4 days) may also be considered.
