We’re growing our team! We’re looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer who enjoys leading the development & research of Machine Learning & Computer Vision techniques and can creatively push the bounds of what machine learning can do. If the idea of spearheading the development and optimisation of Neural Networks excites you, then this is the role for you.

We’ve spent the past years developing our Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to accurately detect humans at a sub-metre accuracy in a building. Along with the use of custom CNN models and computer vision, we’ve engineered our network to run completely on our edge devices. Your skills as a deep learning engineer and researcher will be essential to keeping our product at the forefront of the industry.

Being a fast-evolving technology, you’ll be required to keep abreast of new developments in academia and strategically plan how to test and implement new features & experiments. Heading up the Machine Learning development & research, your ability to coordinate and collaborate with a team will be pivotal to the success of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Hypothesising, testing and iterating on solutions to complex Deep Learning problems

• Actively researching, investigating and implementing the latest papers and developments in the Deep Learning field

• Drive innovation individually and as part of our machine learning team and come up with novel approaches to solve problems with Deep Learning

• Ownership of the full ML pipeline from data to training to optimisation and beyond

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Deep Learning Optimisation and Computer Vision 

• Python and Pytorch

• Customising Object Detection Models

• Designing custom Classification and Reidentification Models

• Personally developed and experimented on your own Deep Learning models

A plus if you have any experience with

• C/C++

• Writing and publishing academic papers
