Job Description

We are excited to be recruiting a Senior Student Success Officer. You’ll work with your team to deliver the student success goals set out in Join the Club, our ambitious strategy for 2021-2026.

This role works closely with our Access and Success Projects Director to develop and deliver our new student success programme, Join the Dots. This programme works in partnership with schools and universities to support students from Year 13 through to the first year of university. Each PhD Coach supports a small group of students during the first term of their first year through school-university check ins, a programme launch, peer group session and 1:1s. The programme aims to develop students’ study strategies, sense of belonging and academic self-efficacy to improve first to second year continuation, degree completion, and degree outcomes. You will also be involved in the delivery of other student success projects, as need arises.

The role requires someone with an understanding of student success, attainment raising and latest government efforts in those regards. They should have substantial experience of end-to-end programme management to support young people. They should have teaching experience or work experience in the university or social development sector.

While this role can be based at any of our offices throughout the UK, travel will be required (mainly to London) for events, to universities for events and to attend in-person meetings.
