Job Description
We’re seeking a talented, proactive and outcome focussed Salesforce Functional Specialist to join our shape and deliver our Salesforce capabilities. In this role, you will play a vital part in advancing the organisations goals in relation to Responsible Investment by partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to understand strategic objectives, redesign end-to-end processes and translate and deliver them an improved CRM ecosystem.
The person will work closely with most areas of the business, working within the technology team, you will provide architectural guidance, process rationalisation/transformation and deliver the declarative changes in Salesforce. You will ensure that solutions are aligned with company strategy, deliver measurable outcomes, establishing standardised ways of working across the organisation.
The work will be based primarily in the London office and time zone (currently with flexible working), and candidates will work and accommodate our international colleagues.
Core Responsibilities
Collaborating with stakeholders to determine business requirements that drive measurable business outcomes, making recommendations (understanding goals, pain points, constraints) and translating into Salesforce solutions
Design and implement Salesforce solutions that meet business needs, aligning with industry standards, and PRI design and development principles
Commit to continual improvement and innovation, championing and configuring new features in line with business needs
Provide functional expertise, guiding colleagues on how to leverage Salesforce capabilities and optimise business processes
Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, training sessions and demonstrations
Drive education, awareness and adoption through partnering, training, onboarding.
Person Specification
Mandatory Criteria
Well-developed people management/partnering skills, with a particular emphasis on business partnering and the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse groups
A collaborative, inclusive and consultative approach, with the confidence to challenge constructively and drive standardisation where beneficial.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model and declarative capabilities
Strong Salesforce functional knowledge with the ability to design scalable solutions
Salesforce Administrator experience with experience of working in small, admin teams in both classic and lightning
Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills - You will be working with our internal customers daily, so must have the ability to explain complex, technical solutions and problems to our customers in a language they can understand. You will also have the ability to conduct effective presentations and training sessions and produce high quality artefacts (process maps, users stories, design documentation)
Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, prioritise effectively, and balance strategic architecture with delivery pragmatism.
Significant experience delivering change in complex environments, working effectively with people across the organisation (Particularly Sales Cloud)
Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, work with others to creatively resolve issues
Excellent networking, relationship management and interpersonal skills and experience of building strong and productive relationships
Non-Mandatory Criteria
Experience shaping Salesforce roadmaps and translating business needs into epics/user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritised backlogs.
Multiple Salesforce qualifications
Financial Services domain expertise preferred
Demonstrable experience with Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud
Knowledge of data management best practices, including data cleansing, data loads, and data migration both day to day and as part of projects is highly desirable
Demonstrable project management skills, with experience in delivering multiple small projects and BAU activities in parallel. This may include organising and negotiating with others that are outside of your team
