Job Description

As an Associate Product Owner at PRI, you will be supporting the delivery of the PRI Reporting & Insights product strategy to create value for signatories while supporting PRIs mission. In this role, you will work with the Product Owner to deliver the product roadmap including planning, delivery, communications, marketing, and in-life optimization of the product. Reporting to the Lead Product Owner, this is a broad operational role, working across multiple internal teams and external stakeholders to build solutions that our signatories value and support our mission.

Core Responsibilities

Supporting product delivery

  • Work with the Product Owner to deliver the product roadmap managing the product through its lifecycle including delivery cycles.

  • Building out the requirements in detail, focused on outcomes from the deliveries and how the additional features/products/solutions will enhance the PRI’s products.  

  • Support the Product Owner in managing the reporting content backlog and change control.

  • Supporting the Signatory Operations team in answering signatory queries relating both to PRI reporting questions content and guidance, and reporting tool and Data Portal features

Monitoring product performance

  • Monitor product performance against KPIs addressing product performance and using data-driven insights to inform product roadmap and prioritisation decisions.

  • Provide relevant and timely information to Lead product owner and Director.

Communication and stakeholder engagement

  • Collaborate with the Product Communications, Stakeholders Services and Marketing teams to develop product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify necessary changes to business processes stemming from product updates.

Person Specification

  • A demonstrated interest in Investment Management and ESG industry with an active aspiration to deepen that learning and knowledge.

  • A demonstrated interest in new technologies possibilities, including use of AI to improve the speed and quality of output and product opportunities.   

  • Understanding of the product lifecycle, preferably in a SaaS, RaaS or software development environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

  • Good project management skills, managing conflicting priorities and acknowledging interdependencies, and managing and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.

  • Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Attention to detail is critical as is curiosity to understand how to develop solutions as effectively as possible for PRI signatories 

  • A collaborative and consultative approach to working with others & commitment to fostering an inclusive environment locally and across colleagues globally  

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships, both internally and externally 

  • IT/system skills to an intermediate/advanced level (Microsoft Office packages, Jira, Figma, Salesforce) 

  • Pragmatic, proactive and solution driven approach is essential  

  • Language skills, other than English, are desirable.
