What you’ll do as a Business Analyst
be aware of user needs and familiar with writing high quality user stories to reflect these needs
Map business processes, identify associated costs and pain points as well as opportunities to improve them.
help identify, define, and manage the objectives of a business and will specify requirements from both a business and user perspective

work with a range of stakeholders, tailoring communication to their needs, and work with teams to build relationships while also meeting user needs
help define test conditions, identify issues and risks associated with work while being able to analyse and report test activities and results
collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (including policy people, product people, user researchers and technical architects) to help understand user needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
support the development of robust business cases - help to identify and analyse potential benefits, options for achieving those benefits and associated business risks
understand the difference between user needs and the desires of the user
What we’re looking for
experience of working as a business analyst or a related profession
demonstrable experience in process modelling and requirements gathering
experience of managing internal and external stakeholders
good presentation, facilitation and communication skills
experience of being an active collaborator, who can work effectively with user researchers and product managers
problem solving skills that will support decision-making
