Job Description
We are looking for a UK-based freelance recruitment/resourcing professional to work with our in-house HR team to review and support improvements to our hiring process, create resources for hiring managers, and review and improve candidate communications. The contract is for up to 20 days on a remote basis (possibility of extension and additional days).
Indicative rate £300 per day.

We work with schools, teachers and the wider education system to create and support the use of world-class digital education products built around our rigorous, high-quality curriculum.

This role involves working with Oak's HR Team to:
Review our use of our hiring software and make recommendations for improvements in the use of the system from both a candidate and hiring perspective.
Review candidate communication (particularly template letters) and recommend improvements.
Review candidate attraction practices and recommend improvements.
Advise on opportunities to support improvements in diversity in hiring.
You will need:
Experience of supporting in-house recruitment, ideally using an ATS (we use Be Applied and experience of that would be great but not essential).
Knowledge of legal requirements related to hiring and a candidate-centred approach to recruitment.
Understanding of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in relation to candidate attraction and hiring.
Great written communication skills and the ability to create communications that are engaging and aligned with our culture, branding and approach to hiring.
The ability to work at pace with minimal supervision.
