The Senior Account Manager Role:

We are looking for a thoughtful and sales-minded Senior Account Manager to join our foundational Account Management team. Even without an Account Management team, Proton's net retention is >160% (!), meaning our customers get started with us, become raving fans, and then want to buy more from us.

Your Impact:

You will be Proton's first Account Manager, helping us shape the strategy of how we transition and scale from Customer Success (maintenance/ops) to Account Management (educating/upselling).

As the face and voice of Proton, you will build credibility as an advisor and connector, and develop new business within existing accounts.

As the Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Hitting Revenue Targets: Ensure pilot conversions / annual renewals, executing plans for upsell and cross-selling

  • Relationship Management: Setting success goals and metrics with clients, being a dedicated contact for questions/challenges, being a liaison for Proton's Product team to work with clients / users

  • Client-Facing Meetings: Quarterbacking & attending user intercepts / shadow sessions, Standard manager check-ins, strategic QBRs

  • New Customer Onboarding: Integration support (attending meetings, updating clients, etc.), quarterbacking the coordination of training for new Proton customers, Setting and tracking usage goals / incentive programs

  • Ad-hoc Strategy: Generating reports / pulling down metrics / etc., fielding new feature requests / customizations, Hubspot management (Notes, Deal details, etc.), Help write and update the "playbook" for account management, Support hiring / growing our team

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Account Management or Sales in Enterprise SaaS or B2B distribution

- Scrappy, thoughtful, detail-oriented

- An interest in Artificial Intelligence, B2B Distribution, and technology in general
