The Role

This role will focus on the development and delivery of London Sport’s new approach to help partners unlock the potential of digital and tech-based solutions to address inequality in physical activity.  

 You will engage with stakeholders that have the potential to use tech and digital solutions to achieve their goals, understanding their challenges and identifying opportunities to support them to upskill and broker connections with relevant solution providers.  

  You will be responsible for implementing and managing an annual content programme for sector partners and companies with digital and tech solutions. guiding them through the programme and connecting them. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Proactively engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and the best format and right content for the new offer 

  • Lead the development and then delivery of the new annual content programme sharing best-practice around the use of digital and technology in addressing inequality in access to sport and physical activity. 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with the programmes community, prospective members, sector stakeholders and partners ranging from commercial organisations to grassroots sport clubs, Local Authorities and National Governing Bodies of Sport. 

  • Through delivery of the content programme contribute to upskilling sector partners and companies to enable them to work together to utilise tech and digital to get more people active. 

  • Coordinate the content programme and set up all relevant workshops 

  • Work with London Sport colleagues to ensure that the content programme integrates, contributes towards and benefits from wider London Sport work areas 

  • Produce regular updates and reports to share the successes of the content programme. 

  • Support the delivery of effective digital communications as an integral tool to the continued growth of the community engaging with the content programme.

  • You can demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion in relation to London. 

  • You have a good understanding of how to develop products, services or similar initiatives from start to finish  

  • You have the ability to work with participants to understand their needs and identify suitable approaches to address these  

  • You have an excellent understanding of project management and are able to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate projects and programmes 

  • You are a creative thinker that will thrive within an innovative environment  

  • You have the ability to initiate, develop and manage positive stakeholder relationships 

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to enthuse, persuade, negotiate and influence people through all forms of communication 

  • You are positive, proactive and enjoy working as part of a team and have a commitment to personal development
