As we continue to grow and make an impact, we are seeking a Finance, Development, and Operations Lead to join our dedicated team at the Centre for Homelessness Impact. IN A NUTSHELL:

This is a pivotal role at the intersection of finance, development, and operations, ensuring the seamless functioning of critical organisational aspects. The Finance, Development, and Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing financial processes, driving development initiatives, and optimising operational efficiency.

The Centre for Homelessness Impact is in a transformative phase, and this role is crucial to sustaining and advancing our mission. Collaborating closely with the executive team, the Finance, Development, and Operations Lead will play a key role in financial management, development strategy, and operational effectiveness, contributing directly to the success of our initiatives.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:

  • Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  • Develop and implement strategies to report on funding from various sources, including grants, donors, and partnerships.

  • Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and the Head of Development and People to align financial and development goals.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Implement and enhance operational processes to support the growth of the organisation.

  • Work closely with the executive team to provide financial insights and contribute to strategic decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURS:

We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record in at least two of the following areas: financial management, development/ fundraising, and operations. Key qualifications include experience in budgeting, raising funds, and implementing operational improvements. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively.

YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

  • Experience in financial management, budgeting and development, preferably in a non-profit or social sector organisation.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.

  • A collaborative and proactive approach to operations, with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Familiarity with financial regulations and a commitment to maintaining compliance.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT:

  • Both full and part-time considered.

  • Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 (pro rata if part-time), depending on experience.

  • Location: London.
