We're growing our team! We’re looking for a Data Scientist who enjoys working with large scale databases to extract meaningful insights for the end-user. If being able to work with uncharted and meaningful datasets excites you, then this is the role for you.

Our vision is to harness our customers’ data to uncover valuable insights for their business. You’ll be spearheading this and be required to work strategically to understand, predict and optimise customer analytics needs. Your skills and insight as a Data Scientist will be integral to creating a powerful product that is core to the business.

Although there is existing analytics, this is a fairly new product so there will be a lot of opportunities to pioneer and really contribute to the success of the company. Being a startup, this also means that you will have wider responsibilities with analytics as we grow and develop our system.

Key Responsibilities

• Proposing, experimenting and modelling hypotheses about potential insights

• Aggregating findings in an intuitive way for the end-user to view

• Creating predictive insights and optimisation recommendations

• Comparing different customers’ datasets and identifying industry benchmarks and possible trends

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Self-motivated and takes ownership of conception through to delivery

• Experience with Tableau/PowerBI/Quicksight/Metabase

• Confident in writing SQL queries

• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g. R/Python/Scala)

• Strong communication skills

A plus if you have any experience with

• Machine Learning

• Worked in a large office environment and understand the difficulties of finding a meeting room, somewhere to make a phone call, or even a space to work
