Project Description:
AstroAgency is offering an excellent opportunity to gain broad space sector experience and develop a wide-range of knowledge. The company seeks a motivated individual, to take ownership of creating a robust and comprehensive database summarising stakeholders and capabilities across the European space sector. The ideal candidate will be a team player with proficiency in spreadsheet creation and will work with our CTO to map out current and future capabilities.Find out more about SPIN and explore FAQs here.
Applicant Specification:
Academic: Engineering, Physics, or Business analysis background
Minimum requirements:
Passion and enthusiasm
Proficient in the use of spreadsheets (Excel, OpenOffice) and Google Suite
Strong research and analytical skills
Able to effectively apply guidance and instructions from manager
Effective time management
An interest in the space sector and activities in the commercial space sector in order to undertake the research
Desirable requirements:
A general interest in science and technology
Knowledge of upstream manufacturing, processes and operations
Knowledge of Earth Observation data uses
Experience using project management software
Knowledge of major space publications, websites and fora in order to help support the research
Process details:
8 weeks minimum fixed term contract to be agreed with successful candidate
In-person Induction Event to be held on [date], and an in-person/hybrid Showcase Event to be held at the [place/date]
5 days holiday to be taken during the placement
