Summary of role

Anthesis offers a wide range of strategic technical analytics services across Italy and internationally, focusing on innovation and delivery of real business value. We are seeking a motivated, forward looking, and smart thinking individual to join our company team working on national and international contaminated land projects, Phase II and III site investigations and M&A EHS due diligence assignments in Italy and abroad. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of working experience in environmental consultancy companies. Knowledge and familiarity with standards (e.g. ASTM E1903-19; ASTM E2893) and Italian national regulation (i.e. D.Lgs 152/06 Part III and IV) and field work experience is preferred. The candidate will be based in Italy, working with the Italian and broader EU teams on projects for clients based in Italy and internationally and supported by a large team of experts both in the UK and the EU and across our global teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

•        Work on Italian and/or international projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary and multinational teams;

•        Undertaking project related research; collect and analyse data; engage with a range of stakeholders;

•        drafting technical reports and documents; and providing support in the preparation of content for proposals and marketing content.

•        You will be expected to participate in client projects and proposals and to deliver tasks on time and within budget, and to assist the project managers to ensure that projects perform against targets and deadlines.

•        You may also be given project management responsibilities. We are not expecting candidates to have extensive experience in the areas of focus, rather show significant potential with a broad understanding of key relevant topics along with great potential to succeed as sustainability activators for our clients.

 

Skills

•        Native speaking Italian and/or English with professional level proficiency in the other language;

•        3-5 years’ experience in Contaminated Land, Soil and Groundwater investigation and remediation, EHS compliance, Waste and Material Management.

•        Strong communication and consulting skills;

•        Effective time management and organisational skills. Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to a dynamic, fast moving and changing work environment;

 

Personal Attributes and Qualities

•        Previous background with university degree and education in geology, environmental engineering; environmental sciences;

•        Work well with a wide range of people on a global basis;

•        Curious, globally minded and enthusiastic;

•        soft skills (e.g. communication, collaboration) and capabilities in problem solving and sustainable solutions finding a plus.
