Job Description

The main functions of the role are:

1.      To work with the Communications team to develop and implement a digital communications and social media strategy

2.      To oversee and develop The Lullaby Trust’s digital presence, driving forward digital communications as well as run its day to day digital activities 

3.      Day to day management of The Lullaby Trust’s website, ensuring content is up to date and accurate

4.      Manage The Lullaby Trust’s social media channels, including Facebook Ads Manager, developing the charity’s social media strategy, delivering innovative and engaging content and identifying new opportunities and developments that would benefit the charity

5.      Optimise content for SEO and monitor SEO rankings and manage the Google AdWords account

6.      Provide digital advice and support to the rest of the organisation.

7.      To support Little Lullaby’s digital channels  as required

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are:

To work with the Communications team to develop and implement a digital communications and social media strategy

· Play a key role in putting together a strategy and content plan for The Lullaby Trust’s digital communications to boost engagement and increase brand awareness

· Develop digital content and social media campaigns in line with the strategy and brand guidelines

· Work towards goals set out in the strategy, monitor and report on progress

· Use Google Analytics and social media analytics tools to monitor and report on impact and engagement and build a picture of user behaviour to inform the strategy

To oversee and develop The Lullaby Trust’s digital presence, driving forward digital communications as well run its day to day digital activities 

· Maintain and develop The Lullaby Trust website, monitor and increase user numbers and engagement

· Deliver fresh, compelling and informative web and digital content, monitoring, analysing and reporting on results

· Work with the communications team on creating digital content for our major campaigns

· To work with the Graphic Designer in the creation of images for social media and the website, ensuring they are on brand, relevant and inclusive

· To be proactive in keeping up to date on digital and social media trends

Day to day management of The Lullaby Trust’s website, ensuring content is up to date and accurate

·  Ensure that website content meets user needs and is appropriately pitched, engaging, relevant and regularly updated

·  Regularly assess existing website content to ensure information is correct and up to date

·  Liaise with the website support team to deal with functionality issues

To manage The Lullaby Trust’s social media channels, delivering innovative and engaging content and identifying new opportunities and developments that would benefit the charity

·  To work with the Communications team to put together content plans for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn

· Develop and optimise digital and social media posts, including text, images and video to reach target audiences, including as part of larger campaigns

· To optimise and track spending of paid promotion, including Facebook Adverts.

· To keep up to date with social media trends and identify new channels or tools that the charity could use to better promote its messages or provide a better service to its users

· To work with the Fundraising team to identify opportunities for digital and social promotion from relevant organisations and bloggers and forge links with social influencers in our field

· To monitor social media accounts and respond out of hours when required

Optimise content for SEO and monitor SEO rankings and manage the Google AdWords account

· Monitor SEO rankings and create content that is optimised for search engines

· Manage The Lullaby Trust’s Google AdWords account, ensuring that it is up to date and performing effectively

· Monitor and report on SEO performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console

Provide digital advice and support to the rest of the organisation

· To work with the Fundraising team to produce social media posts and adverts for their campaigns, appeals and events

· To provide digital and social media support for upcoming activities, events or news across all teams

To work with the Digital Engagement Officer for Little Lullaby and the Little Lullaby team to provide assistance and support for Little Lullaby’s digital channels as required

·  To work with the Communications and Little Lullaby Teams to assist and support with the creation of digital media such as videos

·  To assist with the creation of a Little Lullaby digital and social media content plan if required

·  To support and assist the Digital Engagement Officer and comms team members working on Little Lullaby as required
