About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we now have an excellent development opportunity for a Regional HSEQ Manager to support, inspire and lead our HSEQ Advisors in our London, South & South East regions. The purpose of the HSEQ Manager role is to create the conditions for our staff to go ‘Safe Home Every Day’.

You will be responsible for the inspirational leadership and motivation of our project teams, proactively taking the initiative to build meaning relationships across the whole organisation and positively impacting our commitment for improving health, safety, environment & quality. Our HSEQ Managers inspire and lead by example for the drive beyond excellence - with a focus on innovation at the forefront.

About you: You demonstrate natural leadership ability, coupled with an exceptional ‘teamwork ethic’ – you have a flair for ‘seeing the bigger picture’ and have proven success in your previous roles in achieving results through collaborative working with very diverse teams. You demonstrate the ability to influence positive culture change relating to all Heath, Safety,Environmental & Quality, issues and a determination to continually improve standards.

Responsibilities:

•Line manage, lead and support our HSEQ advisors within team.

•Liaise directly with and support COO (Chief Operating Officer) for the Core Operations team on a daily / weekly / monthly basis.

•Influence, support, consult and mentor Project Teams on all HSEQ issues.

•Ensure HSEQ Advisors return incident investigations, audits and inspections within a reasonable time frame, whilst ensuring the quality of the documentation. •Co-ordinate, control and implement the right level of HSEQ resource to support and service our operational sites and Client requirements.

•Liaise with interested parties and stakeholders including but not limited to, HSE, EA, SEPA, Local Authorities etc.

•Review, edit and comment on incident investigations and support the HSEQ team in delivering a professional investigation and report.

•Ensure ‘Lessons Learnt’ are implemented to prevent long term recurrence and up skilling where required of individuals and teams.

Required Experience: • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. • Demonstrable experience. • Exceptional coaching, leadership and influencing skills • Competent use of Microsoft Office
