Job Description

The successful candidate will be contributing to the development of our vehicle and infrastructure systems, as well as contributing to tools and documentation. They will be working in a dynamic and multi-cultural Environment and will collaborate with and support the computer vision team. 

Our vehicle and infrastructure systems are developed primarily using Rust with some modern C++ when necessary. Candidates are expected to have strong working knowledge of one or both. If you've always wanted to move big machines with small computers using Rust then this is an excellent opportunity.

Candidates are expected to have completed a degree or have equivalent work experience. A strong desire to write efficient native code is expected.

In addition to the expectations above, the following items are some of the skills and qualities we hope to see in candidates:

  • Able to work in a distributed team and independently when required.

  • Experience with vehicle networking (CANbus, FlexRay).

  • Experience with object correlation and environment modeling.

  • Functional safety design or certification of software systems.

  • Embedded development (including RTOS applications).

  • Experience with DDS middleware and architecture.

  • Continuous integration systems.

  • Experience with machine learning inference using native code is a plus.

  • Experience with high performance imaging systems and computer graphics is a plus.

  • Understanding of / experience in robotics, computer vision is a plus.

  • Comfortable with Unix/Linux system internals and networking.
