Job Description
We believe in the power of people to solve the climate crisis. We’re building a bold, people-powered movement to prevent fossil fuel exports and accelerate the transition to clean energy.
We’re looking for two new people to join our new campaign team:
Lead Communications Campaigner (detailed Job description here)

What You’ll Do
Together, these roles share responsibility for telling powerful stories, building grassroots power, and driving high-impact campaigns. Across the team, you’ll:
Create and deliver compelling digital content that engages and mobilises people
Design and run strategies across digital, media and communications to shift narratives and support campaign goals
Work closely with organisers, creatives, and partners to align digital and communications work with grassroots organising
Use AI tools ethically to refine narratives, scale engagement and strengthen campaign impact
Track outcomes and use data to sharpen tactics and maximise reach

Strong writing and storytelling skills that make complex issues simple and inspiring
Experience using digital platforms or communications strategies to deliver real-world impact
Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, cross-team environments

Digital Campaigner
This is a hands-on, content-focused role. You’ll:
Produce high-quality content for digital platforms (social, email, web)
Design and run paid and organic digital campaigns
Build digital pipelines that connect online engagement to grassroots action
Support movement partners through content amplification and capacity building
Salary: AUD $93,860 - $106,287 p.a negotiable.

Lead Communications Campaigner
This is a strategic and leadership role. You’ll:
Develop and implement high-impact communications strategies
Manage and publish engaging digital content, including overseeing contractors
Lead on sophisticated paid advertising strategies (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn)
Manage and support the Digital Campaigner and Media Advisor, mentoring their growth
Build capacity with partners and allies, amplifying diverse voices
Salary: AUD $118,716 - $131,261 p.a negotiable.
