The role
Exciting role in a fast-growing organisation working with responsible businesses transforming the economy to benefit all people, communities and the planet.
The Engagement Coordinator is an exciting position that will be key to facilitating and enhancing the customer journey for existing B Corps. As we transition from a small community managed in direct 1:1 relationships to a much larger community managed at scale, our understanding of how to best engage and support B Corps of all sizes will be crucial.
The role sits within the Community team and is responsible for working with the businesses in the UK B Corp Community to offer a positive and engaging community experience, enabling them to share best practice and engage with the wider B Corp community and movement.
Responsibilities
B Hive Community Management
Work with the Engagement Manager to develop an engagement plan for the B Hive, our global online community platform; by assessing current activity and setting goals for improvement
Lead on delivering and implementing creative and engaging content for the B Hive.
Active community management of the B Hive platform, through monitoring posts and replying to comments and queries.
Communications
Responsible for producing the monthly community newsletter, The Buzz.
Work with the Engagement Manager and Marketing and Communications Team to develop a process for capturing and amplifying inspiring impact stories and case studies from across the UK B Corp community.
Working closely with the Community Assistant in managing the email platform, Freshdesk.
Engagement and Events
Identify gaps and opportunities for the engagement of the businesses in the UK B Corp community.
Work closely with the Engagement Manager to identify gaps in community engagement resources and to develop these, along with improving existing resources.
Working with the Engagement Manager to deliver in-person B Socials, a regular series of community social networking events for the UK B Corp community.
Manage the community data in Salesforce and existing community databases and ensure the data is clean and functional.
Lead on creating reports in Salesforce and dashboard tools to report on Community demographics.
Campaigns
Support the Engagement Manager to deliver community campaigns, such as B Corp Month through the delivery of toolkits resources and engagement strategies.
Work with the Engagement Manager and wider Community Team to report on campaign success metrics.
Any other ad hoc projects as required
Skills
Experience in delivering a digital community content plan
Experience in copywriting for newsletters or equivalent experience
Experience in building positive relationships with stakeholders/clients/customers
Experience in using CRM Systems (Salesforce and Pardot experience would be desirable), and other data management tools
Good analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate data insights
Good written and oral communication skills
Strong organisational, prioritisation and administrative skills

Passionate about the role that business can play in creating a future that benefits all people and the planet
