We are the UKs leading environmental impact investment advisor and fund manager, working in partnership with world leading environmental organisations, such as RSPB, WWF and the National Trust, to protect and restore nature utilising market-based mechanisms, implementing bespoke financial tools and creating high impact investments.

The Role
We are looking to recruit a Business Development Coordinator to support business development initiatives across the business. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to support and refine our Business Development activities to drive business growth.
The Business Development Coordinator will: Support the development of new business, including managing relevant portals to scan for new requests for proposals, identifying and analysing opportunities for fit, project managing the bid-writing and proposal process and coordinating key stakeholders across the business to gather necessary input.
Skills and Experience
You will have at least 3 years' work experience in Business Development or a related field (e.g. fundraising and or partnerships). It is essential that you can demonstrate experience of and an interest in, the wider environmental and conservation finance sector in your application.

A track record of pitching new business offerings that resulted in short-term and/or long-term business wins
Proven ability to exceed revenue targets and secure long-term contracts
Extensive experience in identifying, managing and growing client relationships
Account-Based Marketing (ABM) expertise, with a focus on driving lead generation and new business development
CRM Sales & Marketing adeptness
Experience in developing business development strategies, integrating traditional methods with Thought Leadership and event planning to generate leads
Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
We do not expect candidates to possess all these skills and competencies; importantly, what we are looking for is someone who can creatively show how their skills and experience could be adapted to fit this profile, if/where there are gaps. Business Development experience (especially developing high quality bids and proposals and evidence of winning new business in past role(s)) is essential.

Base salary of £34,000 – £37,000 (GBP) per annum based on experience
Up to 10% of salary discretionary annual bonus and discretionary Christmas bonus of up to £1,000
Opportunity to become a shareholder after 12 months with a potential dividend allowance
25 days holiday plus 2-3 days free at Christmas (plus English bank holidays)
