Interested in joining our team? We are looking for a Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist. This role will be based in either Dickinson, North Dakota or Denver, Colorado and report to the Manager, Total Rewards. The successful candidate will have experience in full-scope US payroll, which includes entering employee changes, preparing payroll journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, completing year-end reporting for W-2s, managing time entry for hourly and non-exempt employees, and filing / document retention. This role will also involve supporting Workers Compensation Administration and administering Leave of Absences and Group Benefits, including annual benefits enrollment, 401K plan contributions, 401K Audits, COBRA, ACA reporting, and EEOC reporting. The preferred candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll and benefits legislation and will apply their knowledge of accounting principles to understand the interconnections with payroll. This job will require forming strong relationships with the business and consulting with employees on confidential matters such as payroll or benefit related inquiries. Experience in ADP Workforce Now is highly desired but not required.
