You as Project Manager starting ASAP ☝🏽
Do you want to join an innovative, creative and inclusive culture, playing a pivotal role in growing Lumio?
Lumio is the exciting start-up app that connects your entire financial life in seconds and analyses your income, spending and bills across all your accounts to provide a hyper-personalised money-builder - helping you track, save and invest every penny you should, when you can.
Recognised as a Top 100 Fintech Disruptor, ahead of Monzo and Chip, with coverage from Accenture, Forbes, Tech Nation and Sifted by FT, we’re empowering people to take control of their financial future.
As Lumio’s Project Manager, you will partner with our Chief Technology Officer, Anton and Chief Product Officer Tom to accelerate engineering productivity and build processes to help the team deliver a world-class product that helps Lumio achieve its mission of becoming the most personalised finance app for people to control and grow their money.
You'll work with Anton and Tom to develop Lumio's engineering capabilities, cross-functional communication and manage the team on a day-to-day basis.
We are scaling to achieve our mission of becoming the most personalised finance app. We raised over £1m through crowdfunding in 2021 and we're raising further investment this year so we can continue to develop amazing technology and expand as a global team. We're at a critical junction in our growth and need your help.
As Engineering Manager, you’ll have these skills 😎
Experience managing engineers in an agile, product-led startup environment
You have a passion for engineering effectiveness and understand the best practices in the industry.
Deep understanding of scrum methodologies, possibly accompanied by a recognised certification e.g. CSM
You can bridge the gap between the leadership team and engineers, communicating key information and accurately translating product requirements
You don’t have to have a technical background, but you should be technical enough to understand the work of Lumio's tech team
You know how to avoid/remove technical debt, and you've worked on a single project for long enough to close feedback loops and make continuous improvements
In your first 6 months, you'll be valued and valuable 🤩
Work with our CPO, Tom, and CTO, Anton, to translate our product requirements/roadmap into a delivery roadmap for our engineers and keep our leadership team updated on progress
Embed Scrum ways of working across our engineering team to maximise our velocity. You'll need to be a source of best-practise information to upskill our team.
Take on the scrum master role for our engineers, protecting their time, removing blockers and allowing them to focus on delivery.
